Community D&A
Rehabilitation Aftercare
Program

Duration: 26 Weeks

The final stage of our program, designed to support individuals as they transition back into their communities and navigate the challenges of maintaining sobriety in a real-world setting.

Our program serves men who are currently imprisoned and on remand, offering an alternative to incarceration while awaiting sentencing. We provide a supportive and structured environment for individuals seeking rehabilitation and recovery from substance abuse issues.

CGL provides a holistic approach aimed at promoting mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being without relying on drugs or medication to address the challenges stemming from drug abuse or alcoholism. Through our program, individuals gain insights into substance abuse and receive guidance on transitioning to a life free from its grip. Our focus is on cultivating healthy habits that empower participants to live with purpose and vitality.

Our objective is to facilitate a transformative journey for our residents, guiding them through a five-step process centred on fostering internal connection, strengthening familial bonds, and integrating within their communities.

Program Values

Maturity: In the journey towards recovery, maturity encompasses emotional, spiritual, and psychological growth. It involves facing challenges with grace and wisdom, rather than succumbing to impulsive behaviours or avoidance tactics. Through the CGL program, individuals learn to cultivate maturity by acknowledging their past mistakes, taking ownership of their actions, and embracing personal growth opportunities. By fostering emotional resilience and self-awareness, participants develop the capacity to navigate life's complexities with strength and integrity.

Decisiveness: Recovery often requires making difficult decisions and taking decisive action towards positive change. Within the CGL framework, participants are encouraged to cultivate a sense of clarity and purpose, enabling them to make empowered choices aligned with their values and goals. Whether it's committing to sobriety, seeking support from peers, or pursuing new avenues of personal development, decisiveness empowers individuals to take control of their lives and move forward with confidence.

Consistency: Consistency is key to sustaining progress and building lasting habits. In the context of rehabilitation, consistency involves committing to a structured routine, maintaining healthy practices, and staying accountable to one's goals. Through the CGL program, individuals are provided with the tools and support systems necessary to establish consistent patterns of behaviour. Whether it's attending counselling sessions, participating in group activities, or practising spiritual disciplines, consistency fosters momentum and reinforces positive change over time.

Strength: Recovery requires inner strength and resilience in the face of adversity. Within the CGL community, strength is cultivated through a combination of spiritual grounding, social support, and personal empowerment. Participants learn to draw upon their innate resilience and tap into a higher power for guidance and strength. By confronting challenges head-on, embracing vulnerability, and persevering through setbacks, individuals develop the inner fortitude needed to overcome obstacles and thrive in their journey towards healing.

Responsibility: Taking responsibility for one's actions and choices is essential for growth and transformation. In the context of rehabilitation, responsibility involves acknowledging the impact of past behaviours, making amends where necessary, and actively working towards positive change. Through the CGL program, individuals are encouraged to reclaim agency over their lives and take ownership of their recovery journey. By fostering a culture of accountability and personal integrity, participants learn to live with purpose and integrity, making conscious decisions that align with their values and aspirations.

By embracing these core values of Maturity, Decisiveness, Consistency, Strength, and Responsibility, individuals within the CGL program can experience profound growth and transformation on their journey towards successful rehabilitation and holistic well-being.
